    Reserve A Spot!

Rolled up to this busy location on the corner of 4th and La Brea on Saturday afternoon to catch up with a friend over coffee. I wish I had known they had complimentary parking on 4th Street behind this venue before I parked on the street. This was my intro to Reserves, and it immediately felt elevated. The ambience was super chill, and we commandeered two comfortable chairs inside with a side table to hold our drinks. The outdoor seating was inviting, but the smoke from the various fires raging around L.A. was too unhealthy for us. There are special Reserve options, but we stuck to the regular menu. Feeling adventurous, I tried the Salted Caramel Mocha ($4.75), which was the perfect blend of sweet and salty. Didn't need to add sugar either. Yum! Used my Gold Card for a free decaf refill, too. My friend loves the Shaken Iced Tea ($2.75). All of the employees we encountered were friendly and communicative, and we enjoyed hanging out there for an hour and a half.  Reserve some time to go.

Yes, this is a Starbucks Reserve!!!!!!

This is my stop on the way to work every morning. It's not a regular Starbucks but they do serve regular Starbucks drinks along with Reserve coffee. My favorite reserve drink is the Hazelnut Bianco Latte.. the hazelnut flavor is soooo good and doesn't taste like that bs syrupy flavor. Sometimes they can take long but on most days they're fairly fast. They have extraordinary drinks/food because they are a Starbucks reserve, which is pretty awesome if you haven't been to one before. There's a very small parking lot behind it which is clutch, but it can fill up fast, so there's street metered parking as well. The employees know me by name and are super friendly. Oh and don't forget to ask for a straw!

Ok so I started coming here because of an amazing guy who's usually at the cashier named Cameron (the angel of this location.) He was not there today and I wish he was because he would have helped me with replacing another locations soapy iced black coffee. Instead I get a girl cashier, I explained I'm just having bad luck today with other location drinks to my daily basic black iced coffee (as mentioned earlier). I asked where the guy with the fun hat? (Positive tone) --She replies: ...We all wear hats...sooo. (Condescending tone) ME: Oh sorry, well the "cowboy hat." ANYWAYS, after being corrected on something so minor she says hold on, walks to the barista and is whispering, which I thought nothing at the time. The returns with a new ice coffee & water and as usual I tip a $1 always. In which she quickly dismissed: OH that's not necessary! (Who doesn't want a tip?) ... as I walk past the counter I see an empty Visine bottle on the floor, (As I'm using the restroom before I leave) I get to the point of washing my hands and 3 employees had all walked in there... then I left. Thought nothing of it. But when I recall my entire experience and the way I feel now? 1/3 into my drink, I'm currently pulled over sick. I've paid around $14 just to get such a basic drink and this happens?) I feel robbed, violated, & the bathroom check was probably to confirm my reaction.

-- AFTER THOUGHT, I feel like this is a corporate kind of report? I will wait to see how I'm feeling by this evening.

Very friendly service nice big location with parking in back
However every time I order ahead through the Starbucks app my order seems to get lost in the mix and it takes longer than walking in to ordering

I never knew Starbucks Reserves even existed until I visited this location. Despite the fact that this is probably the most beautiful Starbucks I have ever stepped foot in, I was deeply impressed by the different ways you could get your coffee brewed. You can even get a coffee sampler and try out all the special reserve brews, which might I add taste like liquid gold! If you order the reserve coffee, they serve it to you in a reusable plastic cup as well! The overall vibe of this location is very trendy, I always see young and hip people studying in the black leather seats. Oh, and there is a parking lot behind the store!
